Lagging in Literacy – Improvement and Strategies for Children with Learning Difficulties
This workshop will explore reading, comprehension and writing skills for students with learning difficulties. There are three main sections in this workshop. 1) Why do children with learning difficulties struggle with these academic tasks and what particular aspects of these tasks do they struggle with? Neurobiological reasons behind literacy challenges will also be discussed. 2) Curriculum challenge areas. 3) Hands on specific strategies and tools for various literacy areas.
Participants are provided with course materials and useful reading, comprehension and writing resources.
This workshop is run publicly for individuals and privately for schools and other groups.

This program is run privately for schools and other groups at $850 per workshop for up to 20 participants inclusive of course materials and certificate. More participants may be added for an additional fee determined by attendee numbers.
